Groceries & Errands

What is the STAYinTV Groceries & Errands Program?

This group of volunteers will shop for and deliver grocery and pharmacy needs as well as run minor errands for Villagers who require this service on a short or long term basis.

How It Works:

  • Call our voice message center at (865) 458-7084 at least 3 days or more prior to the date you need your groceries. Leave a voice message with your name and phone number
  • A volunteer shopper will call you to set a time to meet. At the meeting you will receive an information/registration packet for the program. Fill out the registration forms.
  • You will give the volunteer a grocery list and a signed check made out to the grocery store. The volunteer will write in the amount of the purchase at checkout
  • At an agreed upon time, the shopper will deliver your groceries and receipt to your home

What do we expect from our participants?

  • You are unable to drive yourself to the grocery store
  • You will enroll in the program prior to using the service
  • You are willing to give the volunteer shopper a signed blank check payable to the grocery store
  • You are willing to return the Feedback Form to STAYinTV, 202 Chota Road, Loudon, TN 37774
  • You will be home during the pre-arranged time that the volunteer is doing the shopping or errands and the items are being delivered in case the shopper needs to contact you
